At POLYTROPIC, quality and social responsibility are at the heart of our strategy and everything we do.
Aware of the need to play a part in a sustainable economy, we have made our commitment to the environment a key factor in the company's identity.
Since 2020, aCSR Committee has been steering our actions according to the 7 pillars: governance, human rights, working conditions, environment, fair practices, consumer protection and local development.
In addition, the installation of over 700 photovoltaic panels on our site has enabled us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint.
In 2023, in order to formalise its approach and obtain recommendations from an external point of view, POLYTROIC chose to collaborate with the Positive Company label.
This label made in France recognised at European level is among the most demanding labels in the world and enabled us to take stock of our level of CSR commitment. In addition, to obtain the label it was necessary to establish the company's carbon footprint through the company Sami.
The aim of this approach is not simply to obtain a score, but rather to get a starting point and identify areas for improvement.
The label obtained with two stars ** out of three certifies that the company has taken account of environmental and societal issues in carrying out its missions and in its relations with all its employees, partners and suppliers: the reward for our commitment and our CSR ambitions!
Eco-design is also at the heart of our approach. Wwe are pioneers in integrating sustainable technologies into heat pumps, such as full-inverter technology enabling optimised electricity consumption. As early as 2018, we introduced theR32 fluid, with less impact on the ozone layer. Today, we are going one step further with the use of R290, whose Global Warming Potential (GWP) is almost 225 times lower than that of R32. All our products are designed to meet ISO 9001, ROHS, TÜV and F-Gas standards, guaranteeing performance, safety and low environmental impact.
Our packaging is recyclable, we've done away with unnecessary plastic and foam cushioning, we've dematerialised our leaflets, and we use sustainable materials such as aluminium, metal, FSC-certified wood and recycled ABS.
Our spare parts are available for at least ten years to combat programmed obsolescence.
Our solutions combining Full Inverter technology and solar production deliver energy savings of up to 40 % compared with a conventional heat pump.
Our actions extend beyond our production. Since 2020, we have been supporting the Planète Urgence association through a reforestation programme in Indonesia. For each order, one or more trees are planted, helping to restore threatened ecosystems, raise awareness among local populations and empower women through agroecology. This partnership is part of a sustainable and mutually supportive vision of our global impact.
